On 15th September at 15:00 CET Christina Pinell, winner of the NNF master thesis prize 2021 will present her work within an NNF webinar with open attendance for all interested parties.

Date:

Title:

Receiver Architectures for Positioning with Low Earth Orbit Signals

Abstract:

Large so-called mega-constellations of satellites are becoming common-place in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). As a result, more LEO satellite signals are broadcast and might yield positioning benefits for user receivers on Earth. The thesis presented in this webinar studies the necessary receiver architectures to facilitate positioning benefits to the user. The analysis is centered around processing LEO signals of opportunity and a possible LEO signal dedicated to positioning. The work is part of the ongoing project INdoor navigation from CUBesAt TEchnology (INCUBATE).
